Sol. After taking out 100 liters of milk and adding some amount of water.
The ratio of milk and water =900/100= 9 ∶ 1
After taking out 200ℓ of mixtures, then the Quantity of milk = 800 ×9/(9+1)= 720 𝑙
The new ratio =720/280=18/7= 18 ∶ 7
After taking out 400ℓ of the mixture the rest amount of mixture will be 600 ℓ.
Quantity of pure milk = 600 ×18/25 = 24 × 18 = 432 ℓ
The amount of pure milk will be 432 liters.

Sol. Internal length = 86 cm

So, external length = (86 + 2 + 2) = 90 cm

External breadth = (46 + 2 + 2) = 50 cm

Internal height = 38 cm

External height = (38 + 2) = 40 cm

Outer surface area = 2 × 90 × 40 + 2 × 50 × 40 + 90 × 50

= 7200 + 4000 + 4500

= 15700 cm2

= 1.57 m2

Cost of painting the outer surface at Rs. 10 per m2 = 1.57 × 10 = Rs. 15.
